I Know God Makes Mistakes

I started this particular blog a couple of weeks ago and did not get to finish it. So am adding to it today.

I know God makes mistakes, because Jennifer would not have been taken like she was. Also many of us have been praying for God to take the blond with big boobs and he screwed up and took Dolly Parton.

The world definitely needs a lot more Dolly’s and a lot less Donnie’s. If anyone earned their way to heaven Dolly sure did. What a accomplished person who lived the true American dream. Worked her way up from nothing to a superstar.

It was also sad to learn of the death of Tim Curry. Jennifer liked the Rocky Horror Picture show, me not so much. However he was a talented actor. They say these events come in three’s so maybe there is still a chance for the good lord to make good.

I made it back to Mesquite on early evening of September 2. It was a smooth but long trip home. Fortunately traffic was light in Salt Lake City so overall I made good time. Lots of time for reflection of both Jennifer and Dad. The only real stops I made were for gas and restroom breaks.

Once I got home I got the car unloaded turned on the water and made a quick trip to store for some groceries so I had something to cook the next day. Well when I got home I was hearing a drip, drip sound and went over to my water heater/water softener area and noticed my water softener bypass assembly was leaking. I attempted to put the softener in bypass but it still kept leaking. So turned the water back off and got a five gallon bucket of water from my spigot outside the house, so I had water to flush and fill toilet. Also rigged up a catchment system to collect the drips from the valve. It dripped all night and I had collected about 3 gallons of drips the following morning.

I was scheduled to play golf early Thursday morning with my friend Randy. So I went ahead and called water softener company from the course. We inherited this softener from the original owners, the company is in Las Vegas. So I finally get a hold of a receptionist and explain my situation and she says yes we can get to you but not until the afternoon of September 17. Is that customer service or what. I was expecting a date of September 8 but not the 17th. So I told her to schedule me, but then as soon as we finished golf got in the car and drove down to a local HVAC and plumbing company and they were able to schedule a guy to come out on Friday. Anyway, he was able to hook up a bypass line and order a replacement valve. At least I have water and hopefully the parts will come in today and he will come this afternoon to get it fixed. So we will see.

It has been nice to get home to my own bed. I just need to get the old body clock back to Pacific Time vs Mountain Time. I keep waking up at 4:00 am, which is annoying. Like I have said before I am one of those people who if I wake up, I am up and cannot go back to sleep. My dearly departed wife was just the opposite. If she woke up she could go right back to sleep. My peanut brain just gets too active and I get to thinking about too many things to go back to sleep.

I think about all of the crazy shit going on in this world and what dumbass thing the orange dipshit is going to try and rename today or what lie he is going to tell us about Iran today. Yesterday it was New Mexico. He can give a shit less about the cost of groceries, gas, housing etc.. All he wants to do is rename stuff anything to take the attention of the Epstein files or shit that really matters.

November can’t get here quick enough, and I pray the American people send a lot of his ass kissing cronies packing, but frankly I am of the opinion that the Democrats could screw up a wet dream at this point. Chettolini is giving them the election on a silver platter in a normal world, but we have all of these battles occurring in the Democratic Party. Also you got Chettolini screwing around with the election process. So God only knows how this shit is going to turn out!

What a mess we are leaving the next generations, I am embarrassed to be part of it.

Well enough for today! My Blood pressure is rising, I need to go do something productive and get it back down.
