Final 4 Baby!

A while back I asked everyone to vote for my nephew Heath in a national high school mascot contest. Well to update everyone he has been advancing in each round of the tournament and has made the Final 4! If you have voted for Heath in this contest you have made that possible and I Thank You!

If you could please continue to do vote for him that would be WONDERFUL! This round runs from today (10/27/2026) until October 29. He is going against a Las Vegas school mascot in this Final 4 round. Pretty impressive for a little Montana school to be battling a school from Sin City.

You can vote even if you have not voted in the previous rounds. He will need every vote he can get so come join the effort!

We are very proud of Heath’s efforts to be the Mascot. It was surprising to all of us when he announced he was going to try and be the Mascot. So Happy for him. Jennifer (being a cheerleader in her day) would have really enjoyed watching and participating as a voter in this contest.

How to Vote for America’s Best High School Mascot

Voting begins Thursday, October 15th, 2026 at 9 a.m. (PST)! 

Follow these simple steps to support your school:

1 Visit The64.com (http://the64.com/) and click on the America’s Best High School Mascot tournament.

2 Find your school’s matchup and select your mascot.

3 Cast your vote. You get a new chance to vote in each round your school advances.

4 Complete your vote each round for a chance to win a prize!

5 Come back for every round and keep voting to help your school reach the Championship.

6 Fully register with your email to receive reminders when each new round opens, plus an email announcing the tournament winner.

Voting Schedule:

Round of 64: Oct. 15–17 • Round of 32: Oct. 18–20 • Round of 16: Oct. 21–23 • Round of 8: Oct. 24–26 • Round of 4: Oct. 27–29 • Championship: Oct. 30–Nov. 1
