He Schmitt Himself.

This week has been a tougher one. As usual I have had Jennifer on my mind pretty much constantly, however I have had a couple of pretty strong flash backs to the day she passed. It is weird how they come and I can’t put my finger on a common trigger for them, but they sure do suck.

I have also reflected a lot of how strong she was in dealing with the news that her condition was terminal. I question whether I could be as strong as she was in dealing with that news. The answer is I don’t know. I guess I will see if/when I have to face that news.

I also reflect back fairly frequently on the way that day progressed and wonder if I could have done anything differently. I still am thankful for the discussions we had that morning and that I was able to tell her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me and did for me. Even though it has been 3+ years, it is still very surreal.

I am still thankful that she is not here for all of the political bullshit going on in this country. However in the same breath I wish she was here so we could cuss and discuss it all.

Missouri Senator Schmitt certainly shit the bed this week in his attempted grilling of Jack Smith. He called him a “dirt bag” and falsely claimed Mr Smith had committed perjury. This was such a sickening performance by a US Senator.

The past couple of weeks there has been discussions occurring in the Senate that I would never imagine in a million years. Discussions on beastuality with the Director of the FBI and a Senator acting like a school bully thinking he has a major gotcha moment. Unfortunately he obviously does not understand the difference between the NBA and NCAA. His staff must be Trump University alumni in that they did not figure this out before making their poster to put up in the hearing.

The incompetence in the GOP runs deep. Certainly Chettolini’s cabinet is arguably the most unqualified cabinet ever assembled. Hell, he signed a document with AI experts that had the United States spelled wrong.

We all know that our representatives have staffs that do the majority of the work for the representatives. They prepare the notes and speeches, put together the presentations, brief the representatives on the particular issues and watch the polling of issues. So when they have incompetent staffs you are going to have incompetent representatives.

Beyond frustrating. I was visiting with a person the other day. This person travels extensively outside the US for pleasure. Now I should state that this person is orginally from the South and has a strong Southern accent. So the person stands out as a American when they are in a foreign country. She just recently got back to Mesquite after a trip to the South Pacific region of the world. She said the reactions of people in the foreign countries is always interesting and runs the ggamutof different opinions. She said many feel sorry for her having to live in a country with this moron at the helm. She said she has had people get mad and refused to talk to her because she was a American. In her opinion our country has become the laughing stock of the world. IVe have to sadly agree with her.

Did anyone catch Pete Kegbreath’s meeting with the top leaders of the military (which he plans to decimate further). Yet another embarrassing performance. This bastard should be at the top of the impeachment list.

I saw a post on Facebook, asking if there were any 3 time Trump voters that still supported him. The responses to the questioning was frightening and show how deep the brainwashing of his base is. The majority of respondents (not all) said they would vote him again and again. I fear for our country that we have people this fucking stupid walking around amongst us.

Well enough for today, my blood pressure is getting raised and I don’t need that.
