Give Us A Second Chance

Old couch humper wants America to give the GOP a second chance. So I guess even he agrees they have royally fucked things up. Guess what, I hope the American people have wised up, and start sending these bastards packing but sadly I am fearfully doubtful.

If the Democrats do regain control of the House and Senate, I hope they actually do something. Sadly I doubt that will happen as well. I would hope they would roll up their sleeves and get to work on working for “The people” and write and pass some legislation that will make a diffrence in the world.

Sadly, I am betting they will just waste time and money with Bullshit hearings and trying to crucify the Orange messiah. Don’t get me wrong, I would absolutely love to see that happen, but historically that is not likely to happen. The current speaker of the house has made claims that this session of Congress has been the most accomplished congress in modern history. I don’t know what he is smoking, but if you buy that you are truly a idiot. In the words of Senator Kennedy, you might not be the dumbest person in the world, but you better hope the dumbest person in the world doesn’t die. In in my opinion old Chettolini has that title locked up tight. We have never seen someone as stupid (but shifty) as the orange asshole.

Now Chettolini has banned three press agencies from the White House grounds. This is total bullshit and unconstitutional in my opinion. I could hear Jennifer screaming from heaven when this news broke. She would be on the warpath!

I realize that the three press groups that were banned do not align with his administrations way of thinking and challenge/question all his actions. Too fucking bad, put on your big boy pants or in his case the extra strong depends and take your medicine and defend your position.

This needs to be challenged immediately and his party needs to grow a spine and tell the Orange Messiah that he is wrong. The White House is the people’s house not his Royal Palace. He is just a temporary tenant and hopefully will be evicted!

I have been busy on many fronts and have not had a chance to sit down and get some things off my chest. I have been busy with various Rotary activities. Our annual fundraiser (MUDD Volleyball tournament) is coming up this weekend. Have been busy selling raffle tickets for that. Also I missed several meetings this summer. So have been busy catching up on writing up meeting minutes from those meetings. That is a royal pain in the ass, but am getting there.

Also tomorrow night I am hosting about 20-25 people at my house for a Candidate Meet and Greet for a gentleman running for a seat on Mesquite City Council. So that has required me to move furniture and rearrange my front room. I also borrowed some chairs from friends but have asked everyone to BYOC (Bring your own chair). So that has taken up some time.

Today I have been busy house cleaning. I also washed and dried bedding today. I really miss having Jennifer when I do that. She was so good at making a bed (from her days working cleaning rooms at the Finlen Hotel). I always get flashbacks when I do this, so usually my old eyeballs are a little runny when I do that. I also had to change the toilet paper roll in the bathroom today and was careful to do it the way she would want it. When she was around I would just throw the damn roll on there and 9 times out of 10 I would hear a “God Damn it Joe would you please put the roll on correctly”. Sadly, that usually went in one ear and out the other. I could care less how the damn paper was on there, I just wanted to make sure there was a “square to spare” (Seinfeld reference). In the later days of our marriage, I would try to just time it such that she would have to change it. If it was low I would just go use one of the other restrooms. That did help eliminate some of the ass chewings, but not all of them. Did not take her long to figure out that dodge, so would get chewed on for that. What I would give to get one of those ass chewing’s today!

I did squeeze in a round of Golf yesterday. We had to go to ST George to play, because all of the Mesquite clubs are currently closed for grass overseeding. We had a beautiful day for it and I played decent for the first nine holes. The back nine was a different story, however I did finish strong and parred the last hole.

Well I better get back to doing something productive, tomorrow will be here before I know it.
