Another $5000 Lie

Well the orange whacko is really going off the deep end! Promising a $5000 dollar check to every adult citizen if the GOP keeps control of both the house and senate. Sounds like damn bribe to me! I am not running out and spending that $5K just yet. I got burned on the Doge and Tariff check schemes. My Momma did not raise a complete dummy, I ain’t getting burned a third time. In my opinion, it’s time once again for the 25th Amendment. What do we hear from the GOP? Crickets! Not a spine in the whole crew.

Just a FYI - I did not get burned on Doge or Tariff check scheme, like I said, my momma did not raise a dummy. However why let facts get in the way of a good story telling.

Today I have been manning our Rotary Club’s used book sale. Sales have been OK, but book donations have been off the charts. We have had 14 donations of books. Some are big boxes full of books with a wide range of genres. I damn near got a hernia carrying the boxes from peoples cars to the room. We are reaching the point, in my opinion, where we are going to have to cull some books, we are running out of room.

I played golf yesterday morning. By the time we finished I was wiped, golfing on the face of the sun will do that to you. It was toasty when we finished. Had to get my rounds in before all of the courses close for the rest of the month for overseeding.

Have you seen the video of the guy (I think it was in Atlanta) that somehow launched his car into the air under a bridge and got it stuck between the girders with his feet dangling out of the car. According to the press, the guy walked away from this wreck with just minor injuries. They are still trying figure out how the hell his car ended up where it was. It was crazy, but in today’s world it is like OK, just another car wreck.
