I will be having a memorial service for Jennifer on Saturday September 9, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the Sun City Mesquite Pioneer Center - Veterans Hall room. I welcome all who can attend, but totally understand if you can't for whatever reason.

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I will be having the final memorial service and internment in Butte. I am working on dates/times and the location for that and will share once I have that firmed up.

The Mesquite service will a very informal/causal type service and remembrance. So please no suits/ties or fancy dresses. We enjoyed the laid-back lifestyle here in Sun City and I want the service to be laid back and relaxing and as fun as it can be.

I intend for it to be mainly focused on people remembering Jennifer and enjoying the company of each other. There will be a short little prayer service and a few words about Jennifer then let the socializing/eating begin.

We have only been here in Mesquite for just over a year but have so enjoyed meeting so many people and taking part in the various activities (Bocce, Pickleball, Putting, Ukulele playing, pool time, etc.) and had planned to do so much more of that. Which makes her passing even harder to take.

I plan to have light sandwiches, chips, and most importantly white cake with white frosting (which was Jennifers favorite) with Lemonade and Water. We cannot have alcohol at the remembrance and I would ask that people please abide by that. Jennifer was not a big drinker, and she would appreciate that. If the service was in remembrance of me the story would be different but it's not.

Thanks for the update on the plans Joe. I plan on attending one of the memorials. Likely the one in Butte if possible once you have the details. Hugs and prayers coming your way. Again let me know if you need anything.
