End Of Balloon Festival

Well the Mesquite Balloon Festival ended today. Due to winds aloft the balloons did not fly today. So I helped the folks I was working with get their stuff reorganized and loaded up for their trip back to Castle Rock, Colorado. Then I went over and helped the balloon that Margot and Allen finish packing up the balloon they were working with.

The Casablanca Casino had a breakfast to thank the pilots and volunteers. It was a pretty good spread. We had about a hour to kill before the breakfast so we did a little gambling. I had $5 dollars of free play on my Mesquite gaming (owners of the Casablanca and Virgin River Casino) card and I hit a hot slot machine and was able to turn that into $101.00. So that was exciting!

After the breakfast was over I came home and did some laundry and then started watching the first playoff game. I was pulling for Baltimore and then I went up too Sunday Bocce. It was a beautiful day overall the. Came home and watched the second game. I was the outcast in our Bocce group as I was pulling for the Lions to win. So both my teams lost today. So my slot playing luck did not carry over to football. Good thing I did not put any bets on the games.

Overall it was a good weekend. I got to fly in a balloon and won some money. Can't get much better than that.
