Another part of College Football that Jennifer liked was watching the show "College Gameday"on ESPN. She would even sometimes get up early to watch it. For Jennifer to get out of the rack early was a unusual occurrence. She was a power sleeper. She always told me I must have a guilty conscience because I often rose much earlier than her.

She loved to read the fan signs and was always making sure the Washington State flag was at the gameday set. She was not necessarily a Washington State fan, she just was impressed with the effort that their fans make to get the flag to the Game Day set each week. She also like watching the guest picker segment.

When we lived in San Antonio we had a routine. I would be golfing and she would send me texts with the funny signs that fans had. After I finished golfing we would meet for lunch and she would give me the run down of the show and her evaluation of the guest picker and which mascot head Lee Corso picked for the spotlight game.

She did not like living in the Pacific Time zone because Game Day started too early, but she would record the show so she could watch it.

How I will miss those texts and lunch conversations/evaluations.
