Trophy Husband

Last night Jennifer was in my dreams. I am not exactly sure what the dreams were or what they were about. However, I woke up chuckling because of something I used to tease her about. That something was that I was her trophy husband.

I used to tease Jennifer a lot about her being older than me (3 months). As such I told her I was obviously her trophy husband. She would scoff at that and say it obviously was not much of a trophy. More like a participation trophy. As always she was right. I also would tease her that she was my cougar, since she robbed the cradle to get me. Again she would scoff and say it was only 3 months, I would counter with that it mise well be three years.

Anyway the dreams must have been something around that, because that was the first thing in my mind when my eyes opened. It was a weird way to wake up.

The world continues its craziness, and in some weird way I am somewhat jealous that she is not here to witness the bullshit that is going on. The PINO and King Musk continue to hack up the government and put our country into chaos and continue to drive wedges to break this country and our world apart. I am just so thankful that we as a couple did not bring children into this world.

This measles outbreak is getting scary and was totally preventable, but we have so many dipshits that have not vaccinated their kids. Someone posted a picture of a person with measle sores all over their body and said they are freedom sores. While it is somewhat funny, it obviously is not, when you realize that kids are dying from this. I saw a post about the man that wrote James and the Giant Peach and how that book was written for his daughter as she was struggling with measles. She ultimately died. He wrote a second book after her death. That was in 1962. So MAGA continues to want to return our country to times when diseases like measles and polio caused parents to have nightmares about the futures of their children. Of course wacko’s like Robert Kennedy are going to make sure we get thru all of this, plus all the new deadly diseases that are popping up. Oh wait! we will have no idea of what is coming next because old Elon and Bobby Jr took Elon’s chainsaw to the Health departments and we have withdrawn from the World Health Organization.

We all know how well the PINO handled the COVID pandemic, so obviously we are going to be OK. If you believe that, I have some beautiful ocean view property here in Nevada to sell you.

Mind boggling and now many of these MAGA’s are whining because they are getting their lives thrown into turmoil because old Elon is taking his chainsaw to their livelihoods. Well guess what, if you are one of the folks that went to the ballot box and put a check next to the Chettolini’s name. Put your big boy/girl panties on and take your damn medicine. Go bitch somewhere else because I have no time for you.

Like I have said numerous times, they telegraphed exactly what they were going to do with Project 2025 and those that voted for this turned a blind eye. Now don’t get me wrong, was the other side all that much better. The answer to that was no and that is perhaps the saddest part of all of this. Neither party is worth much (in my opinion).

I am truly trying to be optimistic in how this is all going to turn out, but will be honest that it is damn hard to be optimistic. I need to count my blessings as I have many, but damn it, it is hard.
