Those Who Passed

I was reading the paper this morning and they had a section on all the rich and famous folks that passed away in 2023. There were a couple that were favorites of Jennifer. Tina Turner would probably top that list followed by Jimmy Buffett.

She really like Tina and she would belt out her tunes when they came on or she put them on. Now she sounded nothing like Tina, but she loved to sing along anyway.

I have talked about Jimmy before since he passed after Jennifer and sadly had the same type of cancer, just not the as aggressive form as hers.

Anyway as we get ready to put 2023 behind us I hope she is getting ready to party with Tina and Jimmy. That would be quite a concert.

I will welcome 2024, just because it means 2023 is gone and good riddance. It was a year I wished never happened. I know 2024 is going to be full of new challenges and sorrows but also new opportunities.

I am going to dinner with Jeanne and Rob at Lydia's supper club this evening and then will be home with the folks to ring in the new year. I hope all who are reading have a Safe and Happy New Year!
