The Queens Hat

Last night I had some weird dreams. I really can't remember all of them, but one was involving one of our cruises.

We took a cruise out of Oslo, Norway with our good friends the Malody's back in 2002. This was a very good cruise and we saw a lot of the British Isle as well as Normandy and Paris France. Anyway, we generated a lot of good memories on that cruise and several of the pictures in the PowerPoint presentation I had put together for Jennifer's services were from that particular cruise.

Anyway, while we were in Liverpool England we happened to stumble upon Queen Elizabeth and Prince Phillip visiting a maritime museum in Liverpool as part of her Golden Jubilee tour of Britan.

We got a chance to snap some photo's as they were leaving in their limo. Lori and Jennifer were separate from Dale and I in the crowd. So, they had a slightly different vantage point. Jennifer snapped a photo as they drove by and all she really got was the queen's hat. Fortunately, Dale and I had a slightly better vantage point and were actually able to catch some better photos. Anyway, we harassed Jennifer a lot about her photo and had some good laughs over the years about that day.

She always got a little flushed, but she always took the ribbing in stride. For whatever reason that event was part of my dream last night. I don't remember all of the details from the dream, only that the photo is stuck in my mind today. Attached is a copy of the photo so it can be stuck in your minds as well.
