Smiling In Heaven

I know Jennifer is smiling in heaven today. I gave her sister Elaine Jennifer’s old golf clubs and bag. It’s not a high end set, but is a decent set that I had bought for her on Valentine's Day several years ago.

Jim, Elaine and I played the par 3 course at Highland View golf course today. It will take a few rounds for Elaine to get used to the new clubs. They are graphite shafted so they are lighter than her old steel clubs. After we finished the round we grabbed some lunch and a couple of adult beverages. Jennifer would have so enjoyed the day and I know she was smiling up in heaven today and I know there is no other person that she would want to have her clubs.

During lunch we talked about how this summer has been a lot of fun. There has been a few challenges, but overall it has been fun.

It is starting to look and feel like fall at certain times here in Montana so summer is coming to a end. Jim and Elaine will be pulling out on Sunday to head home. I have not set a hard date as of yet, but it is looking like probably Sept 5.

I have to be honest I am ready to get back to my own home and bed. It will be tough leaving when the time comes but I will be ready.

Well enough for today. I am just happy that I know it was good day in heaven for her.
