She Was Happy

Mom was very honored and happy for the gathering for her 80th Birthday. It was a beautiful warm day in Elk Park. So that was the only real down side is that it got a little (not unbearable) warm in the house. We set up a couple of fans and that helped keep it from getting unbearable.

Overall it was a nice day and I think everyone enjoyed themselves and it made Mom happy, which was the only important thing.

We are all still getting used to not having Dad here, but we are coping.

Our nephew Michael has released his latest album “Woman Overboard” on YouTube that has the song “The Music Made It Better” which has the reference to Jennifer in it. Still makes me tear up when I listen to it. So if you look up Shamus and the Bottom Feeders on YouTube, you can listen to it.

Today I went and played Pickleball and played 9 holes on the Par 3. Jennifer was on my mind the whole time, I could hear her talking and see her swinging in my mind. I had to fight back the tears a couple of different times.

We have gotten smoke that is coming from fires in Oregon, Canada and I guess a fire over by LoLo, MT.

It is infuriating that old Chettolini is threatening to put sanctions on Canada for sending us bad air. Instead of offering help and resources to get the fires under control. Canada has sent the US resources and help on multiple occasions when we have had fires in the US. It is also infuriating that we are losing US service personnel in this Iranian conflict. Obviously we have not destroyed their military as the bastard and his cronies have been telling us. How many more of service personnel have to die, before Congress steps up and does their damn job and rein this bastard in.

We are all tired hearing about the guy that got tossed by the Buffalo in Yellowstone park. I do feel sorry for the guy because he really did not antagonize the Buffalo and am glad he was not killed. He easily could have been. However, we have heard enough about it, let it go.

Well enough bitching for today. Tomorrow Colleen, The Galbavy’s and myself are going to go see Tim Montana in concert in Helena at the Lewis and Clark Fair. So we are all looking forward to that.
