I have a question. Did anyone happen to take a photo of the table with Jennifer's urn and her purses at the luncheon? If yes, I would sure like to get a copy. Please reach out to me if you happen to have one.
There is the old Irish saying that goes "The road to hell is paved with good intentions". I had fully intended to get a photo of the table but time got away from me and I did not do it. Sadly most of our family did the same as I have asked many of them in person.
This behavior is something Jennifer and I would do all of the time. We would lug a camera around and forget to take it out and grab some photos. So many times we would say after a event or gathering we should have taken a photo of this or that.
Back in the film days (now I am going to sound like a old geezer) Jennifer and I would take pictures and then the film would sit undeveloped for years or even permanently. It was our 5 year wedding anniversary when we finally got around to getting our honeymoon photos developed.
So many times, we would get the film developed and then be looking at them and going what or why the hell did we take a photo of this or that or what the hell is this. Of course we also had the many a blunder photo some random picture of a leg or the street.
During our internship with Marathon in Cody, Wyoming I had a assignment to take photos of something, I believe it was various water discharge points we had around the fields. Well I was not a photography expert by any means and I had taken a whole roll of photos and then over exposed the film so all I got was a bunch of black photos. My going away present from the HES group in Cody was a photo album with a bunch of black photos in it.
During the Covid shutdown we had gone through a lot of our photos and threw out a whole bunch of them (primarily landscape or animals) because we had no idea or clue where or when we had taken the photo and there was no sense in storing or lugging them around anymore.
Thankfully digital photography came around and helped us from collecting these type of photos, that little garbage can icon quickly takes care of the issue.
Anyway, if someone has a photo of the table I would be forever grateful if I could get a copy.
