Today a photo popped up on one of my photo memories. It really tugged at the old heartstrings. It was the one of Jennifer sawing wood on the old Farmall “A” tractor out in the field.

This photo was taken in 2022. It is very hard for me to fathom that she would be gone just a year later. We did a lot of ranch projects that particular summer. We repaired the bridge and we cut up, split and stacked firewood. Jennifer was very involved in doing those projects and I think she actually kind of enjoyed doing them (or at least she said she did) which was very much unlike her in the past.

Anyway the photo got my eyes teared up and was an unneeded reminder of better times.
