Not So Little Susie Homemaker

Today I have been busy playing Susie Homemaker. I hit the ground running this morning by working on some house cleaning, then did some more Purse research.

In case you are wondering, there are too many damn purses in this world! I am 26 deep and still have quite a few more to go. A couple have been pretty painful finding one that is close to what she had.

I took a break from that to mop the floor and clean up the kitchen. Then I remembered that my neighborhood is having a block party tomorrow. They are going to have a cookie contest, so I decided to make one of my favorite cookies that Jennifer used to make to enter in the contest. They are Andes Peppermint Crunch cookies.

I had to make a quick trip to Walmart to pick up a couple items to make them and then came home. I am not going to say mine are as good as Jennifer's but they will have to do. I used to love when she made these. They have peppermint chips, coconut and pecans in them.

I will be honest it was nice to just have a day just to myself, but I don't intend to make it a habit and I am hoping to get a game or two of Pickleball in this evening, just waiting on the last batch to cook before I head up to the courts.
