No Longer A Dutch Brothers Virgin

Well yesterday lived up to my billing. A very busy Rotary Day as well as some putting and Pickleball thrown in to finish it off.

A big thank you to our friend Sheri for working the Rotary used book sale with me yesterday. Sheri is one of those people who will brighten anyone's day. We had some good laughs about a lot of things including donkeys and camels. I will never look at a camel again without giggling. It's a inside joke between Sheri and me.

This morning I broke down and tried Dutch Brothers Coffee. Jennifer and I had been meaning to try it, but the couple of times we were going to go, it had large lines so we never made it. Today I was down near it (I was a little early for the appointment I was down there for) so I went. No line today and it was pretty good. I got "The Kicker" blended. (Irish cream in the coffee). It was pretty tasty, but the little peanut between my ears kept getting froze. So I am no longer a Dutch brothers Virgin, I don't think Jennifer would have been a fan. She was more of a hot fluid drinker than a iced beverage drinker.

Well I think we are as ready as we can be for our Rotary Golf Tournament tomorrow. My fellow club members Chantile, Darlene and Deb have worked their butts off on this and I will be buying them some adult beverages when it is over. It is supposed to be a nice day, but we will have the solar eclipse occurring shortly after the teams tee off, so that should be interesting.

Now I need to come up with a desert type item for our Bocce club potluck on Sunday evening. I have a recipe picked out, now need to run to store to get the ingredients.

So enough therapy for today, Walmart is calling my name, it been a whole day since I have been there and I am sure they are concerned about me and will probably be sending a cop for a wellness check.

Stuff She Is Missing
