Nice Night

Last night I met up with several grade school, junior high, and high school classmates. Some of these folks I had not seen for many many years. So it was nice reminiscing, and having a few laughs.

Unfortunately a couple of folks who intended to come did not make it, but that is how life goes. You can only be in one place at a time. They were missed, but totally understandable.

My friend CD’s band (I call it his JV band) played in the bar we met at last night. So he came a little early and then he joined the group during breaks. It was painful not having Jennifer there with me and she would have really enjoyed the get together.

The bar was packed, there was a 21st Birthday party going on. The person was a niece of my friend Mike Dolan and the cousin of the bar owner. So I was able to see most of Mike’s family at diffrent points during the night. I was embarrassed that I did not recognize his second oldest sister Debbie but had a nice chat with her once she told me who she was.

Anyway, it was nice evening. Like I said yesetrday I was both looking forward to it but also dreading it. Turned out it was fun and I survived it.
