Jennifer Christmas Memories

Jennifer really liked Christmas and had several good memories that she liked to share this time of year. One was when she was on the front page of the Montana Standard newspaper sitting on Santa's Lap. She even used that photo in a school project (see below). Up to that point it was apparently her proudest moment. Apparently, (at least by the caption) she could not think of a thing she wanted.

She also had many fond memories of Christmas family gatherings at her Aunt Helen's house and also her sister Elaine's house.
She also remembered a time where she was so excited that Santa was coming to a party that her family was at. She had long hair at the time, and she had it in braids and was so excited about him coming she was pulling on them and putting them in her mouth. Somebody was smart enough to capture a photo of here meeting Santa and pulling on her braids.

Another year her brother Dave dressed up as Santa and she always had fond memories of that.
As Christmas is quickly approaching, I have been reflecting on these stories and can hear her telling them to me. She always enjoyed reliving those moments.
Today I took Mom to town for a hair appointment. While she was getting her hair done, I ran a couple of quick errands and also stopped out at the cemetery to see her for a few minutes.
Then when Mom was done, I took her to lunch. We went to the "Back 9" at the Highland View golf course. Mom had never been there and enjoyed seeing the new clubhouse building and watching some folks that were playing golf in the two simulators they have in there. It was a tasty lunch.
Then we went to Walmart and Safeway and got most of the groceries for Christmas dinner. My Dad ordered a prime rib that I will need to go pick up on Saturday afternoon.
Well enough for today.
