Another busy day today. I started cleaning the trailer and did not find the damn old laptop. It has to be in the house in Mesquite somewhere. So I got that to look forward to when I get home. I guess she wanted me to do some deep fall cleaning. She was crafty on getting me to do things.

Then went to town and purchased the headstone for our plot. Below is a mock-up of the headstone. The first photo is front and the second photo is the back. I will contact them tomorrow to request the "w" on Wife be capitalized. It may or may not get installed before winter freeze but may not get installed until next spring. Either way it is purchased. Not exactly the kind of shopping I figured I would doing at this point in my life.

While I would not call us a devout couple, I chose to have the rotary on the stone because she used to do it with with her Mom before bedtime.

Then ran a couple of other errands in town and back out to ranch to head to Clancy, Montana to watch our nephew Heath run in a junior high cross country meet. This is his first year running cross country and he did pretty good it was a hilly 2 mile course and he finished in the middle of the pack. This was the longest race he has run so far. I think that is pretty good for a kid that did not get to practice the last couple of days and who was up late all weekend due to Jennifer's service and the gatherings we had both before and after.

Then off to East Helena to have a quick bite while my sister Colleen tutored Heath on his Math homework and I helped his brother Case with his reading homework.

He had to read for twenty minutes. We read a book on cranes and then a book on killer whales and great white sharks. Overall he did pretty good. The second book did a good job of getting more complex as the book went on, but he did a good job sounding out the harder words.

Then back to Elk Park. Now off to bed.

Stuff She Is Missing
