Hair Cut Day

It was hair cut day today. We have a rotary dinner tomorrow night and Mom, Dad and I were all a little shaggy. I was more than shaggy

Mom and I were supposed to go to Danna on Friday, but she was not going to go the dinner if she did not have her hair done. So she called Danna to see if we could get in earlier. Unfortunately Danna was booked but one of the other stylists in her Salon was able to get us in at noon. So we hustled in and got our haircuts, well Dad was not going to be the only shaggy one and he was able to get a 4:30 hair cut appointment with his barber.

This morning I had contacted Kate to see if they wanted some of the stuff from our camp trailer for their camp trailer (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, dish towels, oven mitts, etc). They said they would take them, so we ran those over to Kate after our haircuts. The we hustled home and I grabbed a quick bite and ran Dad to town to get his cut.

Then Dad and I stopped and got some Safeway fried chicken for dinner. This evening we worked on cleaning up a bunch of old paperwork that Mom and Dad had in a desk that is going in the auction. Found a few gems and a couple of things that will be needed for the auction (e.g. combination to a safe). Also paperwork for a cemetery plot that my folks will give to Colleen if she wants it. It was one that one of my great aunts had but did not use.

We also worked on a few other things. So all in all a busy day.
