Defrosting Freezers

As I have mentioned in the past Jennifer was a list maker. When we would get to Butte for the summers we would put together a list of things that we needed to get done at the ranch over the summer. We usually posted the list on the folks refrigerator and she relished on marking things off the list as the summer progressed.
One of the things that was always on the list was defrosting the freezers at my folks. Jennifer would usually tackle that task and I would usually help some, provided I was not tied up on another list item. I would usually help pack the coolers to the freezer and help unload the items into the cooler and Jennifer would take care of the defrosting and getting them wiped out and restarted and the we would unpack the coolers. She would write up a inventory as we unpacked the coolers.
My sister Colleen and I worked on that today. We got two of the three done, and no offense to Colleen, but I sure missed having Jennifer there today.
I also started clearing out clothes that Jennifer had left in the trailer. Colleen took a few of her old sweatshirts/jackets and a small purse she had left. I will take a few others to my sister Cindy to see if she wants them, then I will donate the rest to Goodwill. I just hate seeing things go to waste, it's not that I am not wanting remeberances of her. I have those and getting rid of the clothes is not going to dampen or remove those memories.
Don't get me wrong, it was not easy pulling them out and packing them up. I shed more than a few tears while I was doing it but if someone else can use them and get some enjoyment out of them then that makes me happy and right now that is all I really care about.
I am going to store the trailer at my folks for the winter, but I really don't know if I am going to keep or sell it. I will do some soul searching over the winter before I decide what route I am going to take.
Hopefully we will get the final freezer tomorrow afternoon/evening.
