Well it has been a active last few days. I got back to Mesquite on Wednesday evening. I made decent time and the trip was thankfully uneventful.

Thought of Jennifer a lot during the trip and relived several good memories of our various road trips. As I have mentioned in the past she slept during many of our trips but that was fine with me.

I have been busy getting unpacked and the house dusted/cleaned. Thankfully it was not real bad. My five gallon buckets of water helped keep so some of that at bay. I was shocked how much had evaporated over the summer. There was less than a quarter of a bucket of water left in all of them.

Knock on wood everything seems to have made it through the summer OK.

I have jumped back into the various activities since I have gotten back. Played Bocce, Billards and Pickleball on Thursday. Friday I worked pretty much on the house. Saturday I went to the golf putting tournament. My team ended up winning after a dramatic two hole playoff. So I netted $6. That was nice. Spent the rest of the day watching sports. I watched Heath’s high school soccer game and the had three TV’s going to watch the Griz, Bobcats and Michigan and OKU games.

Today I did some yard work (trimmed a couple of my palm trees) then went and played Pickleball and then watched a little football. After football I went up to the pool and floated around for about a hour. That felt good.

Well enough for today.
