Another Big Walking Day

Started yesterday with Rotary Meeting and then had to hustle home and get my golf cart and take it in for its annual maintenance. The shop is probably only about a mile from my house as the crow flys. But to drive there you have to zig zag around. Anyway I took it there and dropped it off and then walked home. It was not exactly a easy walk, but not killer either. However there is a pretty long steepish hill (not like Park Street in Butte, but similar).
Fortunately it was a beautiful cool morning and I had packed a little backpack with a jug of water, had my earphones and put on some tunes and I hiked back home. Probably would have been a little easier if I had not hiked 22 miles the day before, but I made it.
Then did a few errands and got the house ready for some visitors. Dave and Barb Searle are going to be stooping in for a visit. I am really looking forward to catching up with them. We had a nice little visit at Jennifer's service in Butte, but not long enough to catch up. So I am looking very much forward to today.
Been thinking a lot about her today. All good thoughts, she would have been thrilled to see Barb and Dave and anxious to show them around Mesquite. Thankfully her voice and laugh has been parts of those thoughts. Plus she has been giving me marching orders on things to do.
I'm sure your visit with Dave and Barb will be very welcomed. Please tell them I said hello. Take care. Kim Evans
Hope you have a wonderful visit with Dave and Barb. Please give them a hug for us. Thanks Don and Kris.
