Address And Additional Details For Sept 9 Memorial Service

I know that some folks will be traveling to Mesquite for the September 9 Service so wanted to provide address and other details for the service.

The service will be held at the Sun City Pioneer Center Veterans Hall at 1:00 pm. The address for the Pioneer Center is 1350 Flat Top Mesa Drive, Mesquite NV 89034.

Just a reminder this will be a "casual" service, so no suits, jackets or fancy dresses. Below is a photo of front of the building.

When you enter the building their will be a "check in" desk to your left. The Veterans Hall is to the right down the hall. You will walk past the library room, the Billard room and the Veterans Hall will be to your left. There are restrooms to the right.

Please don't take this wrong (I was asked to communicate this to non-community members) but if you are bringing children or anyone under the age of 18, please have a discussion with them about being on their best behavior and please keep them on a short leash.

They are not to be running around or venturing around the facility or using any of the facility equipment (e.g., Billard room, Library, etc.). Believe me I know that it is tough for little ones to be in a new place that has all kinds of temptations and not being able to sample the wares. Like going to a candy store and having to eat broccoli instead of candy. But I also don't want to get "blackballed". So please ask them to act like the little angels that they are.
