Well I would call the Story Walk a success. Attendance was not what I would have hope for. We probably had 25-30 kids that came and from what I understand the feedback from parents was good. I worked the start of the walk so was not around the finish area. I got my steps in putting up and taking down signs and helping with set-up and take down. It was a beautiful day for it. Just wished we had more kids, but for a first time event I think it went well.
Did get a couple of games of Pickleball in the afternoon and then hosted cards at my house. It was a fun night. I had baked a Chocolate Chip Pecan banana bread and it turned out OK. I used a recipe from the Rotary Cook book that I was given by the noon club for speaking at their meeting on Tuesday.
Spent most of today on the phone catching up with family and friends. I worked a little bit on packing for my trip North, but has been a pretty lazy day. I did air out the house a little bit today. Yesterday I turned on the heat to just make sure it was working before I head North. I went up,and putted 18 holes and then played Bocce this evening. We actually won all three games tonight. I even had part in a Casino (4 points).
Came home and grabbed some dinner, now I am going bowling with Dorothy and Andy down at the Virgin River Cssino.
